My name is  巧 玲 Qiao (pronounce “chow”) and I am so honored you have stopped by my little corner of the web to learn more about me. Think of me as your modern-day Ming ji.

In the Ming dynasty (1368-1644) those beautiful, elegant, educated, talented, yet “forbidden” women, were known as Ming ji.

Many think the Geisha were started in Japan in the 18th century, but in fact the Ming ji (the Chinese version) was started during the Ming dynasty circa 1368 to 1644. Contrary to Western thinking neither are a version of the western courtesan. They are more about culture, talent, sophistication and the art of making their guest feel special.

I like to think of myself as the modern Ming ji, and I know you will as well!

I am of course Chinese but speak English very well. My spirit is one of balance, positivity, joy, and happiness; I enjoy sharing those things with you. I want to do this by being your muse and confidant. I want our time to be a mini vacation for us, but especially for you. I enjoy being a special companion for a kind caring man, who truly values a woman such as myself.

I love to travel and in fact I am very well-traveled. I enjoy fine dining as well as discovering great little-known spots. I would love to hear about you and your passions and interest. I enjoy experiencing and learning about new things. I also enjoy music of many genres.
